Thematic Spotlights

Based on our discussions with our fellow members and at Caucus events, it is clear that Latinx Caucus members’ accomplishments extend beyond research publications. To acknowledge and recognize member accomplishments that fall outside of research publications, we decided to begin publishing “thematic spotlights” that will recognize the community engagement accomplishments by our members. These spotlights will focus on service activities that benefit the Latinx community such as fostering positive community relationships, mentoring, writing accessible community resources, and writing op-eds.
